Veritas Gifts Limited believe that businesses are responsible for the achieving good environmental practise, beyond legal and regulatory requirements.  Although we believe we have a minimal impact on the environment, we are committed to improving our local and global environment performance as an integral part of our business strategy and operating methods.  We encourage our clients, suppliers and business associates to develop sustainable practises and to deliver meaningful contributions to help safeguard the quality of our environment for future generations.

Actively promote standards and work with suppliers and associates to improve their environmental performance.

To use local materials and services where available to help minimise our carbon footprint.

Conserve natural resources wherever possible through increased energy efficiency in our operations.

Minimise waste, promote recycling internally and externally and avoid the use of hazardous substances.

Increase employee awareness and ensure that employees understand and conform to our environmental policy.

Ensure our environmental policy is made available to the public and any interested parties.

To update this environmental policy annually in consultation with our staff, suppliers, clients and associates.

To ensure our culture continually seeks to improve our environmental performance.

Authority & Accountability

Our Director and founder Mr Mark Platt is responsible for ensuring that our environmental policy is set, reviewed and implemented.  The senior management team shall identify owners of processes by which environmental risks, opportunities and aspects of the company’s business activities are understood and managed in compliance with international requirements, in compliance with country and regional legislation.

All Veritas employees have a responsibility in their area to ensure that the aims and objectives of the policy are met.
