Changes to our Privacy Statement
We may change our Privacy Statement occasionally to keep our policies and your privacy as secure as possible and in line with all current regulations. In the event of any changes to our Privacy Statement, we will communicate these clearly to our clients within 24 hours of the change. Any changes to the Privacy Statement will become valid 30 days after it has been posted on the site.
Why and how do we collect personal information?

Do you give my personal information to other third parties?
In certain circumstances, we may share your information with our partner companies and service providers (including the companies we have chosen to handle our order dispatch service and our delivery company) who act on our behalf with activities such as

How can I opt out and close my communications account with Veritas?
You can at any time opt out of receiving our communications and close your account with Veritas by emailing us, simply quoting ‘OPT OUT’ in the subject line at email@example.com or by calling us between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) on 01483 281 417 and speaking to a member of our team.
Within 24 hours, we will remove any contact information we have stored from our database and secure servers.
What happens in the event of a ‘data breach’?
Your information is contained on a secure server database, however in the unlikely event of a ‘data breach’ Veritas will communicate with you within 72 hours of being made aware of the issue.
How do you protect my personal information?
Your information is contained on a secure server database, which is accessible only by a limited number of employees who have authorised access rights to such information.
When you are asked to enter any personal details or credit/debit card information, you can be assured that the website will be secure. This is easily identifiable by an icon in the bottom of the browser window resembling an unbroken key or a closed lock.
All sensitive and credit/debit card information you supply to the Veritas Gifts Shop is transmitted via Secure technology (Sage Pay). This ensures that the information being sent is secure.
